Daniel Magee

Hi, I’m Daniel!

I’m a third-year Actuarial Mathematics & Finance student, and I'm thrilled to be your MASSA President! I joined MASSA as First-Year Rep, then served as last year’s VP Academic, where I coordinated all of MASSA’s professional development events, secured sponsorships, and led academic initiatives. I am beyond excited to lead this team of exceptional individuals to provide more opportunities for professional and academic growth, foster our student community, and build upon the successes of MASSA’s previous Executive teams. Outside of school, I’ve been coaching basketball and tennis in my locality for almost eight years. I’m also a politics enthusiast (primarily Canadian federal politics - always ready to chat!), and a big music lover. I used to play five instruments and now love listening to R&B and Latin artists. If you have an idea to improve student life, I’m all ears! Feel free to reach us on our socials or by emailing president@massaconcordia.com.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Athanasios Lavazos

Hey everyone!

My name is Athanasios and I am really excited to be your VP Academic for this year! I am a third-year student specializing in Actuarial Mathematics and it is my second year as a MASSA executive. Being part of the Academic Committee in my first year, I really enjoyed MASSA’s sense of community, which motivated me to get more involved the following years. My goal is to contribute to this atmosphere and build student confidence with the help of our annual Wine and Cheese and Lunch and Learns. At school, you will most likely find me at the library or at any of MASSA’s events. Outside of class, I enjoy hanging out with friends, going for coffee, and meeting new people. That said, I am always happy to talk so don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Facebook or LinkedIn. I’m looking forward to an amazing year!

Sarah Fragman

Hi everyone!

My name is Sarah Fragman and I am honoured to be your VP Internal for the 2024-2025 academic year! As a fourth-year student in Actuarial Mathematics that has previously been a part of MASSA’S Academic Committee, I have seen the involvement MASSA has in enriching student lives and am proud to now be an executive for such a hardworking team. The main resources I will be offering to students this year are the mock interviews, the mentorship program and student grants, with the goal of driving student motivation and success to further their careers. When I’m not in the library studying or attending one of MASSA’s many events, I enjoy watching sporting events, concerts and getting dinner with friends. I am always here to give advice and love connecting with new people, so don’t hesitate to reach out to me on LinkedIn if you have any questions. Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hi everyone!

I’m Guillaume, a second-year student in Actuarial Mathematics/Finance at Concordia University, and I’ll be transitioning into the Honours program this year.

I’m really happy to be your VP Finance for the year ahead. We have some exciting plans and big goals to make the association even better for students, whether that’s through social events, networking opportunities, or new initiatives.

My role is to manage the budget and help make sure we have the resources to turn those ideas into reality. Feel free to reach out anytime if you have questions, ideas, or feedback!

I’m originally from France and Hong Kong, I’m a pretty curious person who enjoys trying new things, and I love cooking. Looking forward to a fun year with everyone! :)

Hi, everyone!

My name is Stephane, a third-year Math & Stats student and your new VP Academic! I like that actuarial work turns uncertainty into something people can actually plan around, which is why I'm pursuing this degree. That said, the path to get there isn't always a straight line: some days the math clicks, some days it doesn't, but the hard days just remind me why I started (and that's not just about math 😉).

With prior experience on the Academic Committee, I'm focused on making study sessions more interactive and exam-ready, closing the resource gap for first-years, and helping first- and second-years land internships early. I want MASSA to feel like a place where you can ask the "dumb" question, find your study squad, and actually enjoy this wild ride of a degree. Outside class, I'm writing scripts and learning filmmaking (one day you'll see my name on screen), and I'm always down to talk football (not "soccer"!).

Excited to meet you all. Come say hi. I'd love to hear what you want to see from MASSA this year! ✌🏾

Stacey Khoury

Hi everyone !

My name is Stacey Khoury, and I’m a second-year student in Mathematical and Computational Finance. I’m thrilled to step into the role of VP social for the 2026-2027 academic year. Being part of MASSA’s social committee last year completely changed my university experience. Getting involved pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, and allowed me to build an amazing network of friends. My goal is to make a difference in our community, both right here at Concordia and out in Montreal, by ensuring everyone feels included, supported, and connected. Whether we’re hosting student sessions, themed parties, or engaging community events, I want to bring us together in a cheerful ambiance and create memorable experiences for everyone! Fun and very random fact about me is that I’m currently on a quest to master sourdough.

Catch me around campus or at our upcoming events, and definitely say hi if you see me. Feel free to connect with me on social media or drop a message anytime. Let’s make this year unforgettable !

Melina Stefanidou

Hi everyone!

My name is Melina and I’m a second-year Actuarial Mathematics/Finance student at Concordia. I’m really excited to be your VP Communications for the 2026-2027 academic year! I’ll be keeping everyone updated on MASSA events, Lunch & Learns, networking opportunities, socials, and everything else happening throughout the year.

Outside of school, you’ll probably find me at the gym, out with friends, or riding my motorcycle (yes, I’m the girl with the Ninja 650). I was born in Greece, so I’m always down to talk about travelling or try to convince you that Greek food is the best.

If you ever have any questions, ideas, or just want to chat, feel free to reach out. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great year with MASSA!

Data Science & Statistics

Agamjot Singh

Agamjot Singh

Hi everyone!

I’m Agamjot, a Data Science student at Concordia, and I’m super excited to step in as MASSA’s VP of Data Science and Statistics! Having previously helped co-organize MASSA’s case competition, I’ve seen firsthand how passionate and intelligent our community is. This year, my goal is to keep building on that foundation—creating hands-on opportunities, workshops, and collaborative spaces where everyone, whether you're writing your first line of Python/SQL or diving deep into machine learning, feels supported and empowered.

When I’m not working on machine learning models or building side projects, you’ll usually find me catching a good movie, refueling with a solid cup of coffee, or admiring classic watches. I’m always up for a chat—whether it’s about data projects, watch design, or just connecting over coffee at the next MASSA event. Let’s make this a year full of growth, great events, and exciting data insights!

Isabella Iannotti

Hi, I’m Isabella! I’m a second‑year Actuarial Mathematics & Finance student, and I’m thrilled to be your VP External this year! I first joined MASSA as a member on the Communications Committee, where I helped keep students in the loop about events and opportunities. I used to play competitive volleyball, and now I’m more into the gym and staying active. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all!
