Hey everyone!

My name is Athanasios and I am really excited to be your VP Academic for this year! I am a third-year student specializing in Actuarial Mathematics and it is my second year as a MASSA executive. Being part of the Academic Committee in my first year, I really enjoyed MASSA’s sense of community, which motivated me to get more involved the following years. My goal is to contribute to this atmosphere and build student confidence with the help of our annual Wine and Cheese and Lunch and Learns. At school, you will most likely find me at the library or at any of MASSA’s events. Outside of class, I enjoy hanging out with friends, going for coffee, and meeting new people. That said, I am always happy to talk so don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Facebook or LinkedIn. I’m looking forward to an amazing year!

Hi everyone!

My name is Sarah Fragman and I am honoured to be your VP Internal for the 2024-2025 academic year! As a fourth-year student in Actuarial Mathematics that has previously been a part of MASSA’S Academic Committee, I have seen the involvement MASSA has in enriching student lives and am proud to now be an executive for such a hardworking team. The main resources I will be offering to students this year are the mock interviews, the mentorship program and student grants, with the goal of driving student motivation and success to further their careers. When I’m not in the library studying or attending one of MASSA’s many events, I enjoy watching sporting events, concerts and getting dinner with friends. I am always here to give advice and love connecting with new people, so don’t hesitate to reach out to me on LinkedIn if you have any questions. Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hi, I’m Daniel! I’m a second-year Actuarial Mathematics & Finance student, and I'm thrilled to be your VP Academic this year! I started with MASSA as First-Year Rep, where I helped coordinate events and keep first-years in the loop. As VP Academic, I’m focused on expanding MASSA’s sponsorships to boost Concordia’s professional presence and help more students—especially first- and second-years—land internships early on. Outside of school, I’ve been coaching basketball and tennis for over six years, and I’m currently head coach of a AAA Novice Boys basketball team. I’m also a politics enthusiast (primarily Canadian federal politics—let’s chat!), and a big music lover. I used to play five instruments and now lean into R&B. I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi everyone!

I’m Aya, a second-year Statistics student at Concordia, and I’m proud to be MASSA’s first-ever AVP of Data Science and Statistics. This year, I’m excited to shine a light on the data science and stats community within MASSA and create more spaces where students like us feel seen and supported. Whether you're just starting out or deep into analytics, I hope to help you discover opportunities, connect with others, and feel confident navigating this field. When I’m not crunching numbers or exploring a new dataset, you’ll probably find me working on creative projects, watching movies, or enjoying a matcha break. I’m always happy to connect, whether it’s at a MASSA event or casually around campus. Let’s make this a year full of learning, growth, and good data vibes!

Hi everyone!

My name is Krystal Osmond, and I’m a third-year Statistics student. I’m so excited to be your VP Social for the 2025–2026 academic year! After being part of MASSA’s Social Committee last year, I saw firsthand how important it is to create a welcoming and engaging environment for students, and I can’t wait to continue that in my new role. This year, my goal is to organize fun and inclusive events that bring everyone together. Whether it's a cozy study session, a themed party, or designing cute merch for everyone to enjoy, I'm truly honoured to be part of it all. University can be stressful, and I believe a strong social community can make all the difference! Outside of school, I love doing yoga, building LEGO sets, exploring cool stores around Montreal, and spending time with friends. I'm always happy to meet new people, so if you see me at Concordia or at a MASSA event, come say hi! You can also reach out to me anytime on Facebook or LinkedIn. Looking forward to a great year ahead!

Étienne Bergeron

Hi everyone!

I’m Étienne Bergeron, and I’m thrilled to be your VP Internal for the 2025–2026 school year! I’m currently studying Mathematics and Statistics, and having previously been involved with MASSA, I’ve come to really appreciate the work this team does to support students both academically and socially. As VP Internal, I’ll be focusing on the behind-the-scenes work organizing logistics, managing communications, and helping coordinate initiatives like student grants and mock interviews. My role is all about making sure things run smoothly so the rest of the team and all of you can get the most out of what MASSA has to offer. When I’m not working on MASSA related tasks or buried in coursework, I love spending time outdoors, especially camping. I also enjoy tackling personal projects that involve optimization and problem-solving often inspired by my interest in actuarial science. And of course, nothing beats a good evening spent with friends, whether it’s to unwind or just catch up. Whether you’re looking for help, advice, or just want to say hi, I’m always happy to connect. Don’t hesitate to reach out I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and making this year a great one!
