My name is Elena and I am a third-year student in Actuarial Mathematics at Concordia University. I am beyond honoured and grateful to be the President of MASSA for the 2023-2024 academic year. I, along with our team, are looking forward to help students pursue their ultimate career and academic goals through several networking events, mentorship program, webinars, Lunch and Learns, crash courses and much more! We are also excited to maximize everyone’s university experience with various social events where you are all guaranteed to have a good time! On a personal note, I love travelling the world, but especially adore discovering new hidden gems in Montreal. Hey everyone!
My name is Shadia and I am extremely happy to be MASSA’s VP Academic for the 2023-2024 academic year! I am a third-year student in Actuarial Mathematics, and it is actually my second time being MASSA's VP Academic. My main goal is to help students in their academic endeavours by organizing recruiting events like Lunch and Learns, the Wine and Cheese, Workshops, etc. I want all students across the Mathematics Department to get in touch and to learn from professionals in their domain. Outside of school I love to travel and to go out with friends, but on the other hand, I also enjoy staying in and watching Netflix. My name is Athanasios and I am really excited to be your VP Internal for this year! I am a second-year student specializing in Actuarial Mathematics and it is my first year as a MASSA executive. Being part of the Academic Committee last year, I really enjoyed MASSA’s sense of community, which motivated me to get more involved this year. My goal is to contribute to this atmosphere and build student confidence with the help of mock interviews and student grants. At school, you will most likely find me at the library or at any of MASSA’s events. Outside of class, I enjoy hanging out with friends, going for coffee, and meeting new people. Hey everyone,
I'm Hani and this is my second year at Concordia in Actuarial Mathematics. As this year's VP of Social, I will be managing every social gathering in the Math Department. I am thrilled to be in this position because it gives me the opportunity to integrate our first years and maintain the high standard that last year set for me when I first joined as a committee member! This year promises to be one of the biggest for the Social Team! We will be bringing back the best parties from last year, some new ones to appeal to a larger number of students, and some essential events from before the pandemic. We are also spearheading the crash courses to make sure students are well-prepared for their math exams and designing this year's MASSA merch. In the last year, I became financially independent, completed a summer internship with TD Insurance, and became VP of Finance for ASNA's 2023-2024 convention. I love writing, learning about the history of mathematics, listening to Kendrick Lamar, and talking to people, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me for anything.

My name is Ravtej but everyone calls me Rav! I am a fourth year student in Actuarial Mathematics and I am very excited to be the VP Finance for MASSA. After joining the Finance Committee last year, and the Representation Committee the year before, it encouraged me to become more involved as I have always wanted to help students. I plan on doing this by making sure that financial resources are allocated efficiently. I am happy that I will be able to contribute to a community that has been a big part of my university experience. A few facts about me are that I am a huge car enthusiast, I like to play sports, and I really enjoy being outdoors. My name is Daksh and I’ll be your VP External for the coming year! Im super excited to be a part of the team and make valuable contributions to help our student community as a whole! I am a second year in Mathematics and Computational finance. I will be hosting the MASSA podcast with the goal to make is as entertaining and informative as possible. Besides my academic inclinations, I am a big sports enthusiast, soccer and badminton being my favourite ones! I recently took an interest rock climbing and I am absolutely in love with it. My name is Emelie, and I'm a fourth-year student in Actuarial Mathematics. After spending two years on the Communications Committee, I'm very glad to be your VP Communications for this academic year. My goal is to keep all students in the Mathematics & Statistics department informed of events and opportunities this year - both academic and social!
