My name is Kaylee and I am a fourth year student in Actuarial Mathematics at Concordia. I have a long history with MASSA as I have been a committee member, a VP and president during the 2019-2020 academic year. I am extremely excited to be president once again this year and I am looking forward to bringing amazing social and academic events to you as well as additional resources to help you enjoy your time at Concordia. I am an avid Habs fan and when I am not studying for school or actuarial exams, you can most likely find me watching Netflix. If you need any movie recommendations, I am here for you. I love meeting new people so please do not hesitate to reach out on Facebook or LinkedIn. Looking forward to another incredible year!

My name is Deanna and I am so stoked to be MASSA's 2021-2022 VP Comms. I am a 3rd year Actuarial Mathematics student who is actively pursuing my ASA/ ACIA. It is my first year as a MASSA exec although I've been wanting to be part of it and make a difference for a while now. My main goals this year as VP Comms are to increase LinkedIn presence, create new initiatives that encourage positivity and community, as well as just making our social media posts fun and interactive. Outside of school, I enjoy anything adventurous and fun. You can catch me out for dinner with friends (I am a foodie!) or on the ski slopes this winter. Feel free to reach out because I love meeting new people and this part year has made it so difficult to do that!
My name is Gabriel and I am your new Vice-President of External Affairs, for the year 2021-2022. I will be a third-year student in Actuarial Mathematics/Finance and will be keeping the MASSA Podcast alive for the next year by keeping on meeting with industry leaders and professors. I have the knowledge to support the project as I have edited many of the podcasts, gave ideas, built outlines, and hosted one of them, on Mathematics of Data Science and Deep Learning, during the past year. Additionally, I will make sure to stay in contact with other associations at Concordia to create new meaningful partnerships. Besides that, I enjoy playing music, reading and working out. Feel free to reach out!
My name is Philip, and I am excited to be your VP Social for the 2021-2022 academic year! I am a third year Actuarial Mathematics student, and this will be my second year as a MASSA executive. My main goal this year will be to organize fun & engaging events for our student body and help build a sense of community within our association. I am also looking forward to the prospect of in-person events once it is safe and advisable to do so. Outside of school, I am an avid sports fan, especially of hockey and basketball. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as an executive last year, and I am excited to getting back to work and making this year the best one yet. I also really enjoy meeting new people, so feel free to reach out whenever!
As a student specializing in the Mathematical and Computational finance program and now in my second year, I have seen a need for more MASSA involvement in non-actuarial areas and want to work with the rest of the team to make sure all MASSA students are represented. As VP Internal, I will also do my best to represent the MASSA students’ voices in front of ASFA and the department. As someone who also has interests in a wide variety of topics ranging from finance to sports to astronomy, I love meeting new people and discussing topics like these or learning something new. Whether it be for concerns over needs not being met or just for a cool conversation don’t hesitate to send me a message, I'm always willing to lend a hand or an ear.
I am currently a third-year student specializing in Mathematics & Computational Finance at Concordia with a great passion for soccer. I entered university with a narrow mindset to mainly achieve good grades, but I quickly realized that it would be unfortunate to miss out on all the great opportunities outside the classroom. After enjoying my two years in MASSA, I decided to continue my journey as VP of Finance, and it is privileged to work with a team full of highly motivated and bright teammates. It has allowed me to explore and learn more about myself, but more importantly on how I want to see myself in the future. I really love meeting new people, so feel free to send me a message!
When I started studying actuarial mathematics at Concordia back in September 2019, I was dedicated to getting involved within my program and department. Since I was seeking challenges to grow, and I am always willing to help other achieve higher goals, I thought that joining the executive team of MASSA was a great opportunity for me. Being organized, sociable and a hard worker are skills I have acquired throughout the years and think are essential for an VP Academic who seeks academic growth for our association. This year, I will be able to represent all my fellow classmates and those to come, and it is truly an honour for me; I am very grateful to have been given this wonderful opportunity.
Big thank you to MASSA's committee members for joining the 2020-2021 team!
