How do I switch programs?
Note: As stated on the Concordia Website, it is strongly encouraged to contact the academic program you are interested in prior to any request.
If you are considering switching programs within the Mathematics & Statistics Department (i.e from Mathematical & Computational Finance to the Actuarial program), you will need to submit a Transfer form to the program of your choice.
If your current program is not in the Faculty of Arts and Science, you will need to apply for a degree transfer through your portal account.
Transfer applications are only considered once a year (middle of June). It is important to select your courses and do early registration as if you are still in your current program. After being accepted, you will be able to modify your course selection.

How do I add a minor?
If you want to add to your Major another program such as a minor, you must make an appointment with the department advisor of the program you wish to enter. Certain requirements need to be met:
Acceptable standing (assessment and cumulative GPAs 2.00 or above)
At least 24 Concordia credits on record
All credits/courses on record continue to count towards the program and degree

As always, contact your program advisor for more details and to ensure that you have the most up-to-date information when making any decisions.
